| Glad you asked. Restoration Werks is a new, small specialty motorcycle restoration shop. In order to serve the widest range of customers and their machines, the shop is supported by a range of mechanics and craftsmen who only work on a couple of projects at a time. It is a full service shop with the majority of work done in-house, with the exception of some specialized machining, plating and certain types of painting. Also, if a machine requires specific performance tuning, we go outside our facility for access to a dyno. The shops focus, and consequently my favorite type of work, is creating and maintaining useable classics. The quality of work that the shop generates is a direct result of the passion that I have for my own motorcycles and every part of the work is treated as though it was my own. I also make it a point to treat customers the way I would like to be treated. It's a simple thing that is often ignored in this business. The shop's project management for restoration projects is the type of service normally reserved for five and six-figure budgets. I provide it for all customers and do not charge for the time it takes. The shop does not just do restoration and refinishing work. I believe most all motorcycles were meant to be ridden, not trailered from show to show. The majority of our business is doing all the necessary types of work to keep your machine on the road. A large part of the shop's focus is tracking down the 'gremlins', updating the critical components and generally helping to arrest the effects of time. We also handle general maintenance and minor repairs as well as reliability and performance updates for most motorcycles... regardless of age or marque. Please get in touch with me directly if you have any questions or comments.
